Singer Soma Das released her singles Phirey Aaschhi recently. The song is dedicated to those who reside abroad, feel for their root, respect their root and celebrate their origin where ever they reside. Interestingly this song has an international connect as Soma Das is from London while the rest of the members of the song are from India.

Ace musician-composer-lyricist Joy Sarkar has composed the song and Saikat Kundu has penned its lyrics. The song released on INRECO.

Soma loves to be with root musicians like baul, tribal musicians , street musicians, traditional old band party and also loves to work with them. For that reason Phirey Aaschhi was released in presence of a group of Bahurupi from Bolpur.

This was the first time ever that any music release witnessed a live performance of Bahurupis.
