Aakash Aath announced the launch of their new mega serial ‘Sreyoshi’. The story is inspired by the widely read literary work titled ‘Sreyoshi’ by noted author and journalist, Subodh Ghosh. The story is about an ordinary young girl’s journey in life.

The shooting of the serial was in progress in the presence of the cast and crew like Arkoja Acharyya, Sayan Karmakar, Soumi Ghosh, Debesh Roychowdhury, Shakti Dey, Shreyasi Mukherjee, Ranit Modak, Barnini Chakraborty, Anindya Banerjee, and Ashim Banerjee.

With this new serial, Aakash Aath continues to highlight significant literary works—stories that the next generation should see and be familiar with.

Arkoja Acharyya will be seen playing the lead character, ‘Shreyasi’. Sayan Karmakar will be seen as ‘Atin’, Shakti Dey as ‘Kamal Biswas’, Soumi Ghosh as ‘Kajori’, Debesh Roychowdhury as ‘Bhairab Biswas’, Shreyanshi Mukherjee as ‘Sudhamoyee’, Ranit as ‘Ranit Modak’, Bidisha as ‘Barnini Chakraborty’, Kuntal as ‘Anindya Banerjee’ and Ramkanai as ‘Ashim Mukherjee’ will be seen in other roles.

Arkoja played the lead role in Ogo Nirupama and then played supporting roles in serials like Mithai and Mou-er-Bari.

Anindya Sarkar is the director of ‘Sreyoshi’ while Nandalal Majumdar has penned the dialogues.

Rakesh Ghosh has written the script.

Sreyoshi will air every Monday to Saturday at 09:30 pm.
