The 19th International Foodtech Kolkata 2022, the largest food and hospitality exhibition in the eastern region, will take place at the Biswa Bangla Milan Mela Prangan from August 26 through 28, 10 am to 6 pm, 2022, with participation from over 130 significant foreign and Indian food and hospitality sector companies and leading brands.

Participants at the top mega business-to-business (B2B) show are from the packaging, confectionery, bread, dairy, hotel, and related services industries. The Expo is being held in Kolkata after a two-year hiatus owing to the Covid-19 outbreak, with the cooperation of seven significant trade organizations from the food industry and hospitality industries.

Hygienic packaging is the focal theme of International Foodtech 2022 this year.

The whole food business is in the process of automating or going “contactless” with its production, processing, packing, and distribution methods. Foodtech Kolkata 2022 will serve as a platform to demonstrate to the food sector how to cut back on labor-incentive tactics and move toward consumer-friendly mechanization and automation processes and procedures.

The huge exhibition will put the freshest goods and services from the hotel, confectionery, equipment, catering, tableware, food packaging technology, food flavors and additives, industrial refrigeration, hotel, and food chain consumables, and Bengali sweets and snacks all under one roof.

Throughout the three-day Exhibition, a number of seminars and talks on the bakery and confectionery sector, the culinary industry, and the sweets and snacks industry will be held.
