Netflix is prepared to ring in the New Year with a thrilling and previously untold story. Sidharth Malhotra, B-most Town’s beloved hottie, and Rashmika Mandanna, India’s national crush, are ready to hit your screens with Mission Majnu to start the year on a patriotic high.

Mission Majnu, a patriotic thriller with a love story at its center and a 1970s setting, shows one of India’s most clandestine operations to foil Pakistan’s plans for a nuclear assault. In the trailer, Sidharth Malhotra appears as an intense undercover RAW agent whose life is on the line for India, his true love.

The story of the film is inspired by true events.

Sidharth Malhotra expresses his excitement about the movie, Mission Majnu, said, “This will be my first time playing a spy. It depicts India’s most exciting clandestine mission, which changed the country’s relations with its neighbor in the 1970s. With Netflix on board, I have no doubt that this amazing story will be embraced by audiences everywhere”.
