Kerala Tourism Partnership Meet 2019 Organized in Kolkata
Kerala Tourism kick starts 2019 on an ambitious note. A press meet was organized to announce the new destinations and the new offerings of the state for the tourists.
Various dance and art forms of Kerala was showcased at the event to highlight the rich culture found in the state.
The opening of the Kannur International Airport has made Kerala the only state in India with four international airports. Kannur is surrounded by the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats and is now becoming a favourite tourist spot. Moplah cuisine, forts, the new airport-all will help to cement the position of Malabar as the new tourism gateway to South India.
New products and experiences have been tailor made for the domestic traveller. Some of them are sustainable and eco-friendly tourism, the giant statue of Jatayu which is the largest functional bird sculpture in the world and many more.
To reach out to the domestic market, a string of partnership meets have been organized in ten cities in India. With the help of these meets, Kerala Tourism reaches out to more tourists in different parts of the country.
