This September, Cal-On launches its inaugural Oktoberfest Beer Carnival, introducing the vibrant spirit and tastes of Bavarian beer culture to Kolkata with an eight-day celebration featuring German beer, cuisine, and festive cheer. Built around the traditions of Munich’s legendary Oktoberfest, this experience highlights genuine German beer varieties, traditional food pairings, and a vibrant carnival vibe.

When: 19th September to 4th October 2026

Offer: On offer are three German beer styles brewed in-house — Oktoberfest Märzen, Hefeweizen and Munich Dunkel. Guests can sample all three via the Cal-On Oktoberfest Flight, which includes three 100 ml tasting pours, while Märzen will also be served in 500 ml and 1-litre steins, and Hefeweizen in classic Weizen glasses.

Patrons can enjoy German-inspired savoury dishes, like Chicken Schnitzel, Grilled Snail Sausages, Bacon Wrapped Sausages, Flammkuchen, Warm German Potato Salad, Sand-Doug Hot Dog with German Sausages and a Whole Foods Charcuterie Board.

The vegetarian selection includes Flammkuchen, Warm German Potato Salad, and German Potato Fritters (Reibekuchen).

The German dessert on offer is Bee Sting Cake (Bienenstich).

The cocktail menu will feature Bier Teufel and Feuer Michelada.
