The trailer and music launch of the upcoming Bengali film Onno Rupkotha took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Onno Rupkotha is directed by Ratan Maitra and produced by Joydeb Betal under the banner of Maa Simla Films.

In the movie, Dr. Anirban Roy returns to his village after 26 years and discovers that not only has everything changed, but also his childhood sweetheart appears to have changed significantly. He recalls past memories. The grandfather of the boy is making a valiant effort to uphold the village’s values as the community is under the influence of turbulent political forces. Anirban attempts to make amends with his grandfather on the one hand, and Rupkotha on the other. The story is about how he gathers the shattered parts and puts them back together.

Actor Raj De plays the main protagonist in the film. It also casts Biswajit Chakraborty, Pujarini Ghosh, Sumit Samaddar, and others in prominent roles.

Speaking at the event, Rudranil Ghosh said” It is very important that the audiences go to the halls and watch the films. Some producers dominate the hall distribution of films. That harms good films as well made by new or not-so-famous producers. Everyone must get the chance to show their films. This can only happen with the support from the media fraternity and the audiences. They have tried to make a good film. Now is your chance to shower your love and support for the film”.

Sumit Samaddar said that it was easy to make a film in today’s times. However, the biggest challenge was to get it released in a proper manner.

The music was composed by Priyanko. Rupankar Bagchi and others have lent their voices to the songs in this film.

The film is slated for release on 22^nd September.
