Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank Amalgamation Announced

On 1st April 2019, Bank of Baroda, Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank amalgamated and became India’s second largest public sector bank. All the branches of Vijaya and Dena Bank will henceforth function as branches of Bank of Baroda.
This was announced by Mr Debabrata Das, DGM, Mr A K Panda, General Manager, Kolkata Zone and Mr Tushar Ranjan Parida, DGM.

Customers including depositors of Vijaya and Dena Bank will be treated as customers of Bank of Baroda with effect from the said date.

With 9500 plus branches, 13400 plus ATMs, 85000 plus employees, the bank plans to build upon the strengths of the three banks and serve the 120 plus million customers in a better manner.

The customers will experience superior banking services like cash management solution, supply chain financing, financial planning, wealth management services and so on.

With such a wide plethora of services on offer, the customers will surely be benefited by the combined strength of the three banks.
