The JIS Group Educational Initiatives-organized JIS Education Expo 2026 – Siliguri Edition ended on a high note, becoming one of the biggest and most extensive education expos in Eastern India. The massive one-day event was launched in the august presence of Dr. Shankar Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister in Charge of Parliamentary Affairs & Tourism, Government of West Bengal; Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director, JIS Group; and Shri Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director, Business Development, JIS Group, along with other senior officials of JIS Group.

The event reaffirmed the Group’s dedication to empowering young minds with well-informed academic and career choices by bringing together students, parents, educators, and academic leaders under one roof.

Over 1,200 students from 65 schools in North Bengal, Siliguri, and the surrounding areas enthusiastically participated in the Expo, which gave them a rare chance to investigate various options for higher education through professional interactions, individualized counseling, and hands-on learning sessions.

The Expo highlighted the wide range of educational opportunities provided by JIS Group Educational Initiatives at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. It featured 39 institutions, 185 academic programs, and a vibrant academic ecosystem of over 45,000 students.

Aspiring students and their parents were able to interact directly with academic experts, faculty, and admission counselors through interactive institutional stalls. These one-on-one conversations offered insightful information about future-ready learning pathways, career opportunities, admissions processes, and emerging disciplines.

The celebration of more than 1,200 Class X and Class XII toppers from 65 schools in North Bengal, Siliguri, and the surrounding areas was one of the Expo’s main highlights. The ceremony honored young scholars’ accomplishments and encouraged thousands of students to strive for academic excellence.

Additionally, the Expo included one-on-one career counseling sessions and practical workshops where students got advice on industry trends, career planning, stream selection, and selecting programs that fit their goals in a changing global environment.

The JIS Education Expo has developed into a significant venue where opportunities and aspirations collide. The tremendous response from Siliguri’s educators, parents, and students demonstrates JIS Group’s dedication to developing talent outside of big cities and paving the way for the next wave of innovators and leaders.
